Alison Mitchell does such a great job with her Jesus Moments series. Her Jesus Moments: Jonah book is really good and fun to read and look through.
Finding Jesus in the story of Jonah is Mrs. Mitchell’s goal with this book. As you read, look carefully at Noah Warnes’ illustrations. Can you find four anchors that signify a Jesus Moment?
The true story of Jonah can be found in the book of Jonah in the Old Testament part of your Bible. Mrs. Mitchell stays true to the biblical account with her storytelling of Jonah’s life, with the applications for our own lives, and her explanations are well done.
The gospel message is clearly given and easy to understand.
I highly recommend this book to any Christian family with children, as well as any homeschooling family that wants to do a character study on Jonah.
This would make a great addition to that study.
Jesus Moments: Jonah would also be great in a middle-school aged Sunday school classroom or church library for kids.
