Alison Mitchell has done it again with her new book, Jesus Moments: Esther:; Finding Jesus in the Story of Esther.
Along with Noah Warnes’ beautiful illustrations, the story of Esther comes alive in an engaging way.
The goal is to see comparisons of Jesus’ life while you read the book. Hidden scrolls on the pages notify readers that there is a Jesus Moment on the page.
After the story of Esther, Alison Mitchell shows where the scrolls are hidden and identifies each Jesus Moment and explains it.
What a great way to teach children to look for more Jesus Moment comparisons in other Bible stories as well.
I would highly recommend Jesus Moments: Esther. Finding Jesus in the Story of Esther. This book would be great in an elementary Sunday school room or even a homeschooling Bible class.
The book is geared towards younger children but you could easily adapt the study of Esther to middle school grades by adding on additional readings, especially from the Bible. Scripture references are noted on every page where there is a Jesus Moment.
